Famous Filipino Illustrators

There are many famous Filipino Illustrators nowadays but the mos famous among them all are Alfredo Alcala, Larry Alcala, Arnold Arre, Nonoy Marcelo,
Pol Medina, Jr., Cal Sobrepeña, Pierre F. Patricio. They are really great and best of all Famous Filipino artists in terms of illustrations.

Some famous works of Alfredo Alcala are Captain Marvel (Marvel Comics, 1974)
Conan the Barbarian (Marvel Comics, 1975; as inker (with John Buscema as penciller)
Adventures on the Planet of the Apes (Marvel Comics, 1976-1977; an adaptation of the second, third and fourth movies of the Planet of the Apes series).

Famous Filipino Architects

There are many great Filipino Architects but the following are among the Famous Filipino Architects who was recogrnized as the National Artists of the Philippines for their best and exceptional works:

Pablo Antonio - The facade of the main building of the Far Eastern University, designed by Pablo Antonio in the late 1930s.

Juan Nakpil - He designed the International Eucharistic Congress altar and improved the Quiapo Church in 1930.

Leandro Locsin - Church of the Holy Sacrifice, Cultural Center of the Philippines, Philippine International Convention Center, Istana Nurul Iman.

Francisco Mañosa - He designed The Coconut Palace.
